The air bit cold into his airways as he walked. Every step made him doubt if he could take another- not because he was weak, definitely not, but because of that great throbbing pain in his head that told him not to.
Shura felt a horrible irony about the entire thing.
This wasn't Spider Man or The Hulk or any other silly movie he'd seen in the theatres. He wasn't supposed to undergo any supernatural changes from radioactivity. He was just a guy who wanted to take some photos-
-well, he had been.
Blame it on Chernobyl. Blame it on that silly adventurous girl dragging him on this journey. Blame it on his own desire to see the abandoned city, to take pictures.
Blame the world.
Something tingled from his very core, like an electrical circuit coming to life.
Shura concentrated to see through the thick fog and realised that the girl was just beyond him, staring, brown eyes wide, adventure kit slack by her side.
"Leave, now," he whispered as his fingers crackled and it came to life.------
Ages ago I made a few sketches for fashion design. I decided to speedpaint one out in some 40 minutes. It was a fun warm up, since I'm a little rusty.
Also, this character has a story. As you can see.

Shura Ilyusov was an amateur photographer who went on an 'adventure' with a lady friend, and it went... rather wrong.

Perhaps I'll work on it sometime then. Glad to know you like the concept (because really, it's just a rough concept right now haha...)
